One of the first things people think about when deciding to use cloth diapers is how much flack they’ll get from family and friends. When my grandmother discovered that I was going to use cloth (and was making them myself to boot) she called me JUST TO LAUGH at me! You gotta love my family. But I stood by what I saw as a good decision for my baby and my family (and after a lot of research, I’ve been proven right many times over).

But guess what, you’re NOT alone! That’s why this site exists. In the Community portion (which isn’t quite up and running yet… sorry), my goal is to bring parents together who have chosen to use cloth diapers. And trust me, most of them are normal people who just want to have fun. Though some of them are a little crazy (well….at least I am, but I’m fun…. don’t worry) most CD’ing mommies get along together really well.

Besides being better for your baby and the environment, cloth diapering is sometimes addictive! I’ve gotten into several conversations with ladies who say things like “I MUST STOP!!!!” because they’ve bought too much fabric or diapers for their baby. We all just want to have a good time and talk about our babies. No one here will give you any sort of flack for choosing to cloth diaper, and most of them will give you wonderful comebacks for people who would give you flack.
